About 121Speech
We are based in Antigua, Guatemala, and our mission is to provide the best possible Spanish teaching and tuition service to students worldwide at highly competitive prices. We use the free package Skype for videoconferencing lessons with our students wherever they are and with no international call charges.
As well as teaching regular classroom-based classes and providing direct face-to-face Spanish tuition at the Spanish Language Center, our teachers are experts in teaching Spanish on a one-to-one basis with distance students.
My name is Craig Jull and I'm the owner of 121Speech. I have always loved traveling to new places, meeting new people and cultures. South and Central America are my favorite places, and I have made Antigua Guatemala my home.
I came up with the idea of using the internet to directly link students with native speaking teachers, while studying Spanish in the Antigua school. Students attending here have traveled half way around the world to learn Spanish.
I have invested three years of time and effort into making sure you get value for money and a great education. Nowadays I speak Spanish every day and practice speaking with native speakers whenever I get the chance. I use Skype to help me learn Spanish online and get plenty of conversational practice as well as structured lessons.
Lately it has become very expensive to travel, so this is a cheap and eco-friendly way to get a quality education at a modest price.
In order to expand the business and large increase in students, I have partnered with Maximo Nivel Spanish school in Cusco Peru. They have a strong reputation for quality classes coupled with fast growth to take advantage of the wave of online classes. We will be working as a close team, so you the student will benefit from our partnership.
After spending time living in the poorest regions in Central America, I decided to devote some of the profits from here to children's charities in Latin America. You will find links to some worthwhile causes on my site.
